On October 28, 2014 the German Bundesministerium der Finanzen (German Ministry of Finance) issued a press release stating that representatives of finance ministries and tax authorities from more than 50 countries are in Berlin on October 28, 2014 and October 29, 2014 for the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.

According to the press release as part of the conference, on October 29 more than 30 finance ministers will sign an international agreement on the automatic exchange of tax information.

 

On October 29, 2014, the German Bundesministerium der Finanzen will be hosting a press conference of the G5 finance ministers (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK), OECD Secretary General Angel Gurría and Chair of the Global Forum Kosie Louw on the occasion of the Berlin Tax Conference 2014.
