INTERNATIONAL TAX PLAZA - FATCA IGA between The Netherlands and The United States entered into force

On April 28, 2015 an announcement was published in the “Tractatenblad van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden” stating that the Agreement between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the United States of America to improve international tax compliance and to implement FATCA entered into force on April 9, 2015.

According to the announcement published, for the Netherlands the FATCA Agreement applies to the European part of the Netherlands, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba.
