On November 18, 2016 the Cypriot Ministry of Finance announced that the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of India have concluded a new DTA. When entering into force the new DTA will replace the Agreement  between the Republic of India and the Republic of Cyprus for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital, which was signed on June 13, 1994.

Normally we discuss a selection of provisions that are included in newly signed DTAs. However, since we have not been able to locate the text of the DTA yet, we will make such an analysis at a later stage.
