INTERNATIONAL TAX PLAZA - Poland and the Czech Republic agree on cooperation in combating fraud with VAT

On November 28-30, 2016 representatives of the Polish and Czech Ministries of Finance met in Telc in the Czech Republic. During the meeting both countries signed an agreement on direct bilateral administrative cooperation in the field of combating fraud with value added tax.

Both countries agreed on:

· Establishing direct cross-border cooperation

· The exchange of information in the field of combating fraud in VAT

During the meeting both parties discussed practical aspects of cross-border cooperation and of the exchange of information. Furthermore, they discussed mutual experience in the areas of a single control file, cash registers and the centralization of certain tasks (debt issues).
