Position Summary:

Kraft Heinz is seeking an International Tax Senior Analyst to assist the international tax team within the global tax department. This position is exposed to tax accounting, compliance, audits and planning assisting with all aspects of US taxation of international operations including calculations of tax attributes of international affiliates and GILTI and FDII following US tax reform.  A high degree of organization and the ability to effectively maintain and utilize software systems and excel spreadsheets is required in order to successfully discharge the responsibilities of this position.  The position will provide the successful candidate a broad experience level in US taxation of international operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:   

·   Compile and analyze information from international affiliates required for completion of US income tax return filing including but not limited for Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 8975, 8992 and 8993.

·   Assist in the collection of information and calculations of Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and foreign tax credits to support US international tax components of the quarterly tax provision and annual tax compliance computations

·   Utilize excel based modeling tool to track US international tax components to support regular tax reporting and to assist in evaluating restructuring alternatives

·   Maintain updated earnings and profits records, tax basis, and organizational charts for in excess of 100 international affiliates

·   Coordinate with centralized service provider the preparation of foreign income tax returns

·   Prepare formal responses to international IDRs issued as part of the annual IRS audit

·   Provide assistance as needed with foreign income tax audits

·   Perform research as needed to ensure compliance with all tax laws and financial reporting

·   Monitor legislative updates and their impact to Kraft Heinz

·   Assist in analyzing costs to support transfer pricing recharges

 

Qualifications:

·   Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required

·   Minimum of 4 years’ tax experience

·   Knowledge of international provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and tax accounting in accordance with ASC 740

·   Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

·   Experience using CorpTax tax compliance software, Thompson Reuters’ OneSource tax provision software, SAP and Oracle’s Hyperion reporting software preferred

·   Experiences using Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

·   Highly organized with an ability to adapt to change

·   Ability to learn new software and financial systems quickly

·   CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred

·   Periodic travel is required
