Job Description          

 

·   Prepares and files tax returns (corporate income tax, withholding tax, local tax, VAT) for Continental Automotive Korea and reviews cit returns of the Korean subsidiaries 

·   Leads and coordinates the defense of tax audits in collaboration with the responsible teams in the Korean entities 

·   Leads and coordinates engagement of external tax consultants in Korea 

·   Prepares Transfer pricing report and manages TP issues in close cooperation with corporate (tax) functions 

·   Reviews withholding tax issues on cross border transactions 

·   Supports / reviews Korean subsidiaries' tax reporting to the corporate 

·   Leads and coordinates harmonization of tax matters and know­how sharing across entities in Korea 

·   Leads and coordinates the Korean entities' contribution and support to global tax projects 

·   Provides consulting regarding specific tax issues to the Korean entities, eg. provides business teams with tax review on client contracts and reviews and provides tax comments to Accounting Team on tax relevant matters 

·   Provides training and regular information/updates on tax related matters (i.e. newsletters) to the Korean entities and, if applicable, to the global tax teams 

·   Manages the tax­interface between Korea and Continental's global tax teams 

·   Handles special tax related assignments on behalf of the Country CFO and the global tax teams 

·   support global / regional M&A activities

 

Job Requirements

 

·   Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in tax environment (cit and indirect taxes) incl. substantial experience preferably with a reputable MNC or alternatively a BigFour or major law firm 

·   CPA certificate or equivalent 

·   strong Korean tax compliance and advisory experience (multiple entity Setting) 

·   ability to work independently but also as part of a Team 

·   ability to prioritize, multi­task and to take project lead 

·   strong written and verbal communication skills
