Job Description

Management of Company’s tax position, development of tax strategy and its implementation in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan (Region)      

Management of tax risks, US GAAP FIN48 management and reporting, risk mitigation plans development and implementation

Delivering effective tax compliance, ensuring tax returns are properly prepared and presented on time, designing and executing efficient controls, as well as maintaining the necessary records for future tax audits. 

Leading tax audits supervision and assistance in the preparation of information to be provided to Tax officers 

Management of Company’s transfer pricing, monitoring benchmarks and review documentation including CbCR reporting

Management of tax efficiency, identifying tax opportunities, initiating and leading projects or processes within the organization to obtain tax benefits   

Providing training and an outstanding service to the business, by building close working relationships with both Russian and non-Russian stakeholders 

Reviewing and managing the calculation and reporting of tax provisions, balances and figures for US GAAP and local books purposes 

Building close working relationships with local professional advisers, identifying projects and tasks where professional advice is needed, managing delivery and timing of their advice 

 

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in tax positions in a multinational companies or BIG 4

BIG4 experience is a plus

Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills; high performance levels under tight deadlines

Able to handle diversity of assignments and projects and manage change in a proactive way

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment, working with initiative but also as a great team player

High degree of personal responsibility and integrity

Previous experience in pharmaceutical sector would be advantageous but not essential

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and overall abilities to meet project deadlines with a focus on details

Fluent in English (mandatory requirement)

 

Reports To

Direct reporting to regional Head of tax; Dotted line reporting to the CFO of Russia and the CIS
