Spotify’s Tax is team is now looking for a new team member to our growing organization. In this role you will act as Senior Transfer pricing Analyst. You will be part of a team of 18 persons which of 4 are dedicated to Transfer pricing and you will be reporting to the Senior Manager for Transfer Pricing. You enjoy working in a fast changing environment and strive to improve the workflow and processes. The role is based in our Head Office in central Stockholm.

What you’ll do

·   Ensure best in class Operational Transfer Pricing including:

·   Building software models accurately reflecting Spotify´s Transfer Pricing set-up and strategy

·   Ensure timely and accurate execution of inter-company invoicing and settlement

·   Ensure our  inter-company agreements reflect the Transfer Pricing set-up as intended

·   Building analytical tools to forecast future transfer pricing data using projections and changes in business trends

·   Support in creating the Group Transfer Pricing Policy, procedures and controls including relevant documentation as required to support the Policy such as:

·   Researching and keeping up to date of relevant functions and risk in the various departments

·   Development and maintenance of Master, local and CbCr (Country-by-Country-reporting) files in line with BEPS action 13

·   Localization of country-specific files

·   Provide analysis on uncertain tax positions related to Transfer Pricing both recurring transactions and significant ad-hoc transactions

·   Support the Tax Accounting & Compliance and Treasury team with the Transfer Pricing data

·   Additional ad hoc support to meet the needs of the business

·   Participate in tax audits and other regulatory compliance

·   Support the development of Spotifys Transfer Pricing Strategy and set-up in line with the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS (Base erosion and profit shifting)  work and local rules and regulations in the countries where Spotify is present

 

Who you are

·   Working experience in industry and/or consultancy firm in an international setting

·   Bachelor degree in finance, preferably in accounting. If you are a Certified Public Accountant this is a plus

·   Excellent general accounting/finance/financial planning skills and experience

·   Experience in Operational Transfer Pricing and knowledge about international corporate income tax

·   Good "business sense" in combination with numbers

·   Experienced with financial systems (ERP, consolidation tools and management reporting tools). At Spotify we primarily use Netsuite and SQL. Strong Microsoft application skills including the ability to prepare robust Excel models and the ability to learn new software platforms

·   Open, honest, flexible, willing to dig in
