INTERNATIONAL TAX PLAZA - Switzerland - Federal Council adopts dispatch on the revision of the existing Swiss

At its meeting of September 19, 2014, the Swiss Federal Council adopted the dispatch on the revision of the existing Swiss - Belgian double taxation agreement and submitted the additional agreement, which was signed in Brussles on April 10, 2014, to the Federal Assembly for approval.

The additional agreement contains an administrative assistance clause in accordance with the current international standard for the exchange of information upon request. Furthermore the additional agreement contains amendments to a.o. the Articles on: Business Profits, Associated Enterprises, Dividends, Interest, Royalties, Capital Gains, Directors’ Fees, Artistes and Sportsmen, and the Mutual Agreement Procedure.
