The Swiss Federal Department of Finance (FDF) issued a press release stating that on November 12, 2014 the Swiss Federal Council adopted the dispatches on double taxation agreements with Iceland and Cyprus and Protocols amending the double taxation agreements Switzerland has in place with Estonia, Ghana and Uzbekistan.

 

The dispatches will now be submitted to parliament for approval. The double taxation agreement with Iceland will replace the Swiss – Iceland double taxation agreement that is currently in place. The double taxation agreement with Cyprus is a new DTA.
