(April 14, 2015) 

On April 14, 2015 an announcement was published in the “Tractatenblad van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden” via which the Dutch Government informs the public that the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to bank taxes (Hereafter: “the Convention”) shall enter into force on April 30, 2015.

Based on article 8 of the Convention “Entry into Force” the Convention shall have effect from January 1, 2011.
