On June 12, 2015 the Dutch Ministry of Finance published on its website a letter which the Dutch State Secretary for Finance sent to the Dutch Parliament on the same date. Via this letter the State Secretary informs the Dutch Parliament regarding the information he sent to the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect (hereafter: the Special Committee). Attached to the letter to the Dutch Parliament is a letter sent to Mr. A. Lamassoure on June 8, 2015 and the attachments thereto.

 

Unfortunately the letter addressed to Mr. A. Lamassoure was drafted in the Dutch language. In the letter the Dutch Secretary of State a.o. discussed the following matters:

 

  • Initiatives undertaken on a national level to increase the level of transparency;

  • Initiatives undertaken on a national level to limit BEPS;

  • Overview of (tax) rulings granted;

  • Overview of information exchanged with other Member States;

  • Blacklist;

  • Tax treaties;

  • Questions still outstanding;

  • Other information,
