On November 20, 2014 the Japanese Ministry of Finance published on its website the text of an Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany regarding Mutual Assistance and Cooperation in Customs Matters, which was signed in Berlin on November 19, 2014.

 

According to the article 14, paragraph 1 the Contracting Parties shall notify each other, through diplomatic channels, of the completion of their respective internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Agreement. The Agreement shall then enter into force on the thirtieth day after the latter of the dates of receipt of the notifications.
