On February 27, 2015, the IASB's user advisory group, the Capital Markets Advisory Committee (CMAC), held its first meeting of 2015. On April 9, 2015 the summary of the discussions, along with meeting (sound) recordings and Agenda Papers were published on the website of the IFRS Foundation and the IASB. One of the items on the agenda regarded Accounting for Income Taxes. With respect to this item two Agenda Papers had been prepared “Accounting for income taxes - Is there a need for change?” (Agenda Paper 3) and “Income Tax - Case Study” (Agenda Paper 3A).

The U.S. Department of the Treasury on its webpage that is dedicated to FATCA has published the FATCA Agreement that was concluded between the United States and Uzbekistan.

 

The agreement is a so-called Model 1 IGA.

On April 9, 2015 on the website of the IFRS Foundation and the IASB the March 2015 IFRS Interpretations Committee Update (IFRIC Update) was published. The Interpretations Committee met in London on March 24, 2015.  One of the items on the agenda was titled: “Deliberation of comments on proposals for narrow-scope amendments: IAS 12 Income Taxes – Exposure Draft Recognition of deferred tax assets for unrealised losses (Proposed amendments to IAS 12) (Agenda Paper 3).”
