On April 18, 2016 the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Taxes and Other Measures Similar in nature or Effect (TAXE 2) will exchange views with representatives of finance committees of national parliaments within an interparliamentary session (See our interactive calendar for the week from April 18 through April 24, 2016.) In this respect on April 7, 2016 the European Parliament published a very interesting interactive thematic digest titled: “The anti-tax avoidance package and other EU and international developments: Scrutiny and democratic control by national parliaments”.
The thematic digest contains links to supporting analyses provided by Parliament’s Policy Departments for the Committees on Budgets, Budgetary Control, Economic and Monetary Affairs, Internal Market and Consumer Protection and TAXE.
By publishing this thematic digest the European Parliament has found a way to very efficiently and effectively give the readers access to a lot of different documents.
